Woaahhh, where has the time gone?! July is winding down and soon it will be August and August means college! Agghh! Still insanely nervous but at the same time I am getting a teeny bit excited. The fun dorm stuff is getting bought and the textbooks are coming in the mail! Call me crazy but I'm excited to start learning again. That sounds so lame but my brain is starting to feel like a bum and it needs some new knowledge. At the same time, I really am not looking forward to summer coming to an end. I've been doing so much crafting and baking this summer it feels like I should have a craft or food blog, but then I remember how nobody reads this anyways so what does it matter? Haha!
BUT I have made an incredible realization this summer...
I LOVE EXERCISE!
Say wahhhh???!!!

Let me take you back a year in my life to help you understand.

I've always wanted to be the person who exercised, sweat, and kicked ass but that is certainly harder said than done. I exercised on and off but I never really committed. Worse than that is I had NO self motivation. If someone wasn't dragging me to the gym there's a good chance I wasn't going. But I started running with a little help from my boyfriend, Brennan, and my friend, Andrew. They ran everyday after school and I joined them because I was having trouble finding a girlfriend who was willing and able to work out with me on a daily basis. Even better, Brennan was kind of a hard-ass tyrant (in a good way) on getting you started (which was EXACTLY what I needed). At that point running became a habit, but I still wasn't entirely into it. I did an easy, SLOW, mile or two and called it good. Soon it became summer and due to schedule differences the three of us running together fell apart. Suddenly I was left to fend for myself, and crazy enough, I DID IT! I had enough motivation to get my lazy ass out of bed every morning and do my mileage, and I just kept going! And now, I'm not only going farther than I ever have before but I'm pushing myself to new limits! AND I ENJOY IT (in a weird, sick, hurts like hell, twisted kind of way)! IT'S SO WEIRD!

I know this is an odd thing to post about but I am incredibly proud of myself. And even better, through all of this my outlook on myself has completely changed. I feel so much better about myself, and it's not because I've dropped tons of weight and I look like a playboy bunny (because I haven't, and I don't), but just because I feel like I'm capable of so much more than I allowed myself to think. I look in the mirror and instead of pointing out my insecurities I see a BAMF who's ready to kick ass. I never thought getting into running would be something I'd like, but I'm really glad I tried it! I'm no marathon runner and I'm still pretty slow, but for me, I've accomplished a lot. I feel like I've grown so much and my confidence in myself is growing as well. If I can take on this, what else can I take on? College? Growing up? (Ok, well maybe not the last one) But still, I feel like If I can do this, what can't I do?! It's a good feeling....

So for all you out there reading this (good joke right?!), I hope you have a great day, and if getting into shape is something you're thinking about trying, I say go for it! Worst thing that can happen is you'll actually enjoy it! *shudders*

Damn this blog sure needed some positivity...
Farewell,
Life is a slice of kick ass, rockstar woman cherry pie!

Growing up isn't as fun as Disney Channel made it seem...

Um, wow. So here comes the forgotten blog arising from the ashes like a majestic phoenix! Yes, I am completely embarrassed of myself that this blog has become like most things in my life: A project I start and then forget about. No, I take it back it's not that I forgot about the blog it's just that since december it seemed like my life was running away and I was on a constant sprint trying to catch up with it. But now, here I am...laying around like a lazy bum on a summer afternoon, thinking that it's time I finally get back to this blog...
And now folks, I will tell you of the epic adventures of my life since December.
(Oh and by the way, I found out a little after my last post that adults occasionally read this, and then I was insanely embarrassed at my "creative language" sooo I am trying to tone it down...even though I'm all big and graduated so I suppose I can say all the shit I want...oops I already failed)

Anyways...

The months of January-March were a whirlwind of working on State Fair the FHS musical production. My character was a whore (typical) who basically wanted to flash her cha cha to the world. Okay that was an exaggeration but I still had a great time and it was a wild experience that will stay with me forever. After that it became the race to find the motivation to A. apply for scholarships B. make it to prom/graduation C. Not became a suicide bomber in Spanish class and D. give a flying fuck about school . All three were VERY difficult and the only ones I accomplished were B and kind of A and C (I didn't actually murder anyone if thats what you were wondering). Prom was great and lots of fun. Then somewhere in the months of my absence I decided on USD as my new home next fall. And then May came around and I became the most hormonal, unstable emotional wreck of a woman....here's my tale of my graduation woes.

Thoughts that constantly cycled through my mind as graduation approached:
1. I CAN'T DO THIS, I CAN'T DO THIS, I CAN'T DO THIS
2. If I don't get out of this shit hole FHS I will kill someone.
3. I'm going to die in college.
4. I'M NOT GOING TO COLLEGE I'M STAYING HIGH SCHOOL FOREVER!
5. Let's just drop out, who cares?
6. What if we road trip for a year in a van?!
7. I USED THIS LUNCHBOX FOR FOUR YEARS! *uncontrollable sobs*
8. This is the last time I'll ever (insert pointless event that nobody really cares if they never do again)
9. I HATE SPANISH, NO ME GUSTA!
10. I'M GONNA THROW UP OR NERVOUS POOP!

So as you can tell, I was more than confused on what I wanted (and completely insane)...I needed to be done with high school but at the same time I didn't want to let any of it go. It's such a strange thought to know I'll never sing in the FHS choir again, or I'll never sit in the band hallway before school starts, dreading the moment when those three obnoxious warning bells go off. The more I think about it, it's like I loved and craved everything in high school that I dreaded and complained about. Looking back on those long musical practices that I just wanted to die, or the band rehearsals that seemed like they'd NEVER end have become the fondest memories from high school. It's the little things like that that summed up my high school experience, not the big walk across the stage and get your diploma (which I thought was anticlimactic, just so you know). I have made some great memories with the coolest people and It's crazy to think things are going to change. I'm absolutely beyond terrified for college (to the point where I am dreading August 25 which is move in day) and let's just hope I can make it. But at the moment I'm trying to not think about college (to avoid a breakdown) and just enjoy summer. School went faster than I expected now it's time I start a new chapter in my life (whether I want to or not). So now that I can check high school off my list...it's time for the next step...COLLEGE (dun dun dunnnn) so saddle up your ponies and lets rock this bitch! :D

So saying goodbye to you now is a fresh FHS alumni who is desperately trying to think positively about the future. Even though I'm scared I can still say that Life's A Slice of Cherry Pie...

Tooting my own horn

I don't have much clever things to say about this like in my other blog posts, but please could everyone take a look at this spectacle of a gingerbread castle?!
My lovely friend Emily and I spent about 15 EXHAUSTING hours working on it, but I think it turned out great! It was for a local competition, and although we didn't win, we raised 114 bucks for our organization. We are bitter we didn't win but oh well hahaha.
Ok so I would also just like to point out a few things....
YES that is a unicorn farm.
YES that is Emily and I in the windows.
YES thats a rainbow in the background.
YES thats the coolest effing thing you've ever seen.
YES you should be extremely jealous.

Yup so that's that, I think I'll go blog some more since it's been a fricken ETERNITY! HAPPY HOLIDAYS...I DARE you to try and beat that...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!

I'm Thankful for Thanksgiving.

Wowza I'm a blogging machine lately. Anyways, this blog post is inspired by many of my friends who need to but put in their place...please read this especially Marissa and Emily.

Here today I am going to talk about a trend I see over an over again that must stop. This trend is the trend of celebrating Christmas WAY before its time. Before you read this brief paragraph please keep in mind that I LOVE Christmas time, so don't you dare call me a bahumbug.

Thanksgiving is an awesome holiday. All you do is eat and enjoy the wonderful things in life. It's stress free and equally as great as all of the other holidays. So please tell me why Thanksgiving is ALWAYS overshadowed Christmas? The second Halloween passes everyone gets all horned up for Christmas when it is 2 MONTHS AWAY! They seem to forget the simplicity of being thankful of what they have and start buying up a storm of Christmas decorations and making their Santa lists and all that crap. Then on the day of Thanksgiving all most people are doing is planning their plan of action for black friday shopping so they can get their CHRISTMAS shit for cheap. WELL GUESS WHAT I WON'T STAND FOR IT ANYMORE! I think Thanksgiving should get radio stations dedicated to its music and the stores should be filled with Thanksgiving decorations. Oh and you know what else? I like that Thanksgiving still has its true meaning to it...IT IS ABOUT BEING THANKFUL. It doesnt have some myth of a fat man creepin in children's homes overshadowing the true meaning.  Overall, I just really love the food and family surrounded by Thanksgiving and I just wanted to give it its street creds in this blog post......oh and I really dont want to be working on my essay for AP Lit like I should be...
YAY THANKSGIVING!

just remember I really do love Christmas and I'm not trying to knock it, I'm just sayin that I shall love Christmas AFTER the wonderful time that is Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I'm talking to you Marissa.
XOXO

lyke OMG! ily!

So today was cold, rainy and miserable...so since I was kind of a crabby bitch all day I'm gonna go on a bitch rant!

FACEBOOK RELATIONSHIPS!
Puhhh-Leassse! Don't even get me started. First of all I think Facebook is a very wonderful thing that opens a lot of doors. Because of Facebook, I've gotten in touch with more family and old friends, it's a pretty good way of communication, and it makes stalking much less criminal-like. So yay for that, but seriously, people need to take their freaking relationships OFF of Facebook!

I just love the lovers on Facebook. These couples think it is necessary that they comment, like, and write on each others wall multiple times a day expressing their undying love for each other. They are fond of things like "ily" or those weird little heart symbols I still don't know how to make. They know everyone can't stand them but this only fuels them even more. They then begin to PROVE their love to the unbelievers. OH PLEASE! Your love is about as real as my pet unicorn. Oh and might I just add that I have a firm belief that if you say things like "ily" "i luv you babe" or even plain and simple "i love you" on a Facebook wall that IT'S NOT LOVE OR ROMANTIC! If you really love someone how about you give them a call, or hey! heres a crazy thought, GO AND MEET THEM IN PERSON and tell them your feelings! Because Facebook is a social networking site not fucking Eharmony. Don't get me wrong I'm a girl and a hopeless romantic and when a guy says sweet things to you it makes you feel good...but if I were to open Facebook and have a notification about some crap that I'm beautiful and makes all his dreams come true on my wall I'd be like WTF? ...it takes away ALL of the romance and loses all value and credibility. I know your 3 week long relationship is like totally the best time of your life and you've met your soul make and you're gonna be with him foreverz and everz but HOW ABOUT YOU GET YOUR SHIT OFF OF FACEBOOK AND POST ABOUT SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE ACTUALLY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT!

Well that's that, if you got through all of that congrats! Haha, I decided to go get some real life Facebook posts from a couple young lovers I will not name...ENJOY!

"I couldn't ask for a better man, best friend or lover. He gives me everything I need or could ever dream of. Copy and paste this if you married or have a boyfriend that is your everything lets show some much needed love♥ I love you [insert name]."
NOTHING SAYS LOVE MORE THAN CHAIN MAIL!

"[insert name]- The name of a sweet young girl whose smile and laugh could light up a world filled wtih darkness and the eyes that could make your anger vanish into thin air."
I JUST BARFED A LITTLE IN MY MOUTH

"You are beautiful babe idk how I got you but your eyes are so amazing your smile lights up my day your hair tops it all off and you should wear it down more often ;) but what makes you really beautiful is your loving and forgiving heart :)"
AW.

"i love you [insert name] thanks for being the best gf i could ever ask for thanks for always being there for me thanks for staying with me all these months even tho you could be with any other guy in the world i guess im the lucky one babe im sorry sometimes i mess up but i want you to know i want to stick together forever if you feel the same way thanks. do what yourheart tells you I love you"
HE WINS THE PRIZE FOR BIGGEST RUN ON SENTENCE EVER!

"If You held up 11 roses into a mirror, you'd be looking at 12 of the most beautiful things in the world"
NO, ACTUALLY YOU'D JUST BE LOOKING AT YOUR REFLECTION AND SOME FLOWERS HE WAS TOO CHEAP TO ACTUALLY SEND...BAHAHA.

"If I had to choose between breathing and loving you, I would use my last breath to say, I love you."
MY LIL HEART JUST MELTED.

"i think God wants us to be together forever because he gave me a sign :)"
DID HE CALL YOU A DUMBASS?

Oh, how I love those! Thank you all for reading. Every once in awhile it feels good to bitch about something. Now I must return to my life of responsibility...right after I go post on my boyfriend's wall that he's a dream come true and makes my life sunshiny and glittery...
Life sure is a Slice of Cherry Pie....lmmmaaooo.

"That's a scary mask bro!"

HALLOWEEN IS TOMORROW! I sure do love halloween, the candy the scariness, the costumes. It really blows that it's on a monday but oh well! this year I have decided to dress up as a unicorn if anyone cares because that's just my style. As for my Halloween plans who knows...I would love to continue to go trick or treating but old people are a bunch of grumpers when it comes to the youthful teens trying to get free candy...jealous bitches...

But anyways, today as I procrastinate my homework I decided to make up a little quiz so everyone could find out their halloween persona...So if your curious take it and find out!

1. When Halloween rolls around you are most excited for...
a) nothing
b) free candy
c) whorish costume
d) scaring people

2. Your favorite Halloween candy is...
a) old people mints
b) the kind that are made of pure sugar
c) slut candy
d) candy that children like

3. What costume would you most likely choose to wear...
a) dress up as yourself because you are lazy and lack creativity
b) a fairy princess, ghost, witch
c) something you bought at a sketchy stripper store with some sort of animal ears
d) trench coat and weird guy mustache

4. On Halloween what do your plans consist of?
a) sitting on the couch watching reruns of Lost
b) trick or treating until the wee hours of the night
c) working the corner
d) parking your van by a busy neighborhood offering candy to children

5. What will the morning after Halloween look like for you?
a) you will have toast for breakfast
b) you will have crashed after a 4 hour sugar high
c) you are pregnant
d) you are in handcuffs in jail

6. What word describes you most
a) wallflower
b) youthful
c) trannywhore
d) pedophile

OK! Now calculate your answers!

MOSTLY A's:
You are a very boring person. Halloween means absolutely nothing to you. You probably have no friends. On weekends you can be found playing mario kart...by yourself. You probably enjoy things like jigsaw puzzles and playing on farmville. You lack creativity and probably smell a little bit. You should probably take a little bit of advice from the Mostly B's and C's people because they usually have a good time. Don't worry though, even though you live a lifeless life of dull monotony your cats still love you!

MOSTLY B's:
You are a child at heart and have not grown up. You love halloween for the trick or treating, scary movies and free candy. You still have a youthful vibrance for life that is often loss in age. You enjoy the fun times in life. You probably love to play video games and steal all the cookies when your mom bakes them. So rock on you who is young...but keep in mind...if you are 30 reading this with joy and excitement......go get a fucking job and get out of your mothers basement.

MOSTLY C's:
HALLOWEEN WHORE! You are a Halloween slut and enjoy all things hoeish involved with halloween. As Mean Girls said it "In Girl World, Halloween is the one day a year when a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it." You take full advantage of this and wear as little clothing as you can. You probably debated between dressing up as naughty nurse or a naughty nun. Maybe you just wore lingerie and cat ears. There are two of your kind...there is the normal girl who just uses this day to dress a little more provocative that usual then there is the everyday slut who uses this day to become a mega slut. The mega sluts usually end their halloween with a new disease or a possible pregnancy. Either way she probably had a good time but probably doesn't remember that. Halloween sluts unite!

MOSTLY D's:
You are a pedophile. Halloween is only good for you because children ring your doorbell and you can offer them candy without being arrested. You probably have a creepy looking beard and probably smell funny. You may or may not drive a creeper van with tinted windows. People are just generally creeped out by you and your creepy balding combover. So please, on Halloween and everyday, leave the children alone they are so innocent. Go hit on the Halloween sluts they don't really know whats going on anyways. :P

So I hope you enjoyed that quiz and got out of it a new found view of yourself. bahaha. I wish you a happy Halloween filled with candy, whores and no pedos! Party while you're still young!

Have a Spooktactular day!

Post Secondary Plans...

OhMaGawd! Umm yeah, so I think it's pretty clear that my blog has been pushed to the back burner in my life. The school paper people sent me a sheet to fill out about it and I felt like a jerk since I NEVER write on it and it could possible be in the paper....

So what in the world have I been up to since fricken SEPTEMBER?! ....well...uhhhh...all I can really think of is school stuff (homework, college apps, books, presentations, finals, ect.) which is not only LAME but SAD! So because I am a horrible blogger, I am taking precious time away from the 400 pages I'm supposed to have finished tomorrow of Dracula (thank god for spark notes) and writing!

Well, today Terrible Tuesday started out with a college fair...
Imma get real with you and let you know what I think about this whole planning for your future thing...I think that the whole idea is...SCARY, LONG, TIME CONSUMING, SAD, IMPOSSIBLE, FRUSTRATING, AND DID I SAY SCARY?!
I'm beyond intimidated by the whole process and if this were psychology and we were determining between the fight or flight response, you could say I'd choose flight.
So instead of using my time wisely and getting some of that crap done...I decided to compose a list of possible futures where I could have a solid living WITHOUT a college education.

1. Gypsy: I can look like a dirty hobo and do weird things like dance around, wear big hoop earrings, travel everywhere, and have a bunch of dirty hobo kids...oh and everyone can come look into my crystal ball! ...As for money...we keep that on the DL

2. Drug dealer: ...not the most respected career out there and pretty sketchy...but I am pretty hood so I think I could make some good cash...maybe...

3. Extreme Couponer: These people the craziest mofos alive but they have a SHIT TON of food and random crap. I could spend all of my time cutting coupons and then get like 9 carts full of food and pay ten bucks. And for the downers out there wondering where I'll get the money for the coupons and food...(see number 2 bahahaha)
I'll get a business card...McKenzie Phelps: Drug Dealer and part time Extreme Couponer

4. Nomad: I will simply live off the land. I will find myself a big expanse of woods and from there I will hunt, grow, and wander. (Note to self: must learn how to start a fire, kill and animal and make my own shelter) Pocahontas did it so it can't be that hard?...where the hell is John Smith when you need him?

5. GoldDigger: All I gotta do is bleach my hair, get breast implants, and lose all sense of morals...then its time to find the wrinkliest billionaire and pretend that I don't have to sleep with a man older than my dad...EWWWWWWWWW

6. McDonalds: While this one sucks it sure does have winning qualities. I would have to get used to acne, minimum wage, and constantly smelling like a greasy, fatass tub of lard...BUT I bet I would get a pretty good discount on food and c'mon now who doesn't love clogging their arteries? Ohh maybe I could even get promoted to fry cook...

So that's that....
Some of them have their setbacks and some of them aren't very stable in this economic downfall, but I bet I could make at least one of them work....
In the meantime...I should probably go do homework JUST IN CASE that I can't learn how to hunt or my boobs don't grow...

To all my fellow peers out there in the same predicament I wish I had any wise words of advice but I don't. I wish you all luck though.
and when in doubt remember,
Life's a Slice of Cherry Pie.
let's have fun while we're still young
